People Over Products – The best agents will act more like consultants than sales people. They will listen to potential clients and work hard to deliver their best advice about the insurance products that will do the most good. This means that, sometimes, a good agent will actually refer business somewhere else or turn business away because the agent cannot provide the best solution.
